Firefighters Contain Fire Near Arroyo Verde Park
Ventura County and city fire crews headed to a fire above Arroyo Verde Park near Foothill Road this afternoon.
They jumped on the Arroyo fire and had it contained by the late afternoon.
Capt. Mike Lindbery said they will release more information as soon as it becomes available.
The area around the park is known for hiking trails with scenic views of Ventura.
