Two Paso Robles Men Arrested in Connection with Shooting Incident
Paso Robles police arrested 19-year-old Alejandro Mora and 21-year-old Fernando Maduena, both from Paso Robles, in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on April 3 in the 600 block of Nicklaus Street.
It does not appear that anyone was hurt in the incident.
Police say the shooting was the result of a narcotics transaction that went bad, but was not gang related. A Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was seen leaving the scene of the shooting but authorities were able to locate the pickup with information provided by the public.
Authorities identified Maduena and Mora as suspects involved in the incident. Both were booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail.
Mora faces felony robbery and conspiracy charges, and misdemeanor destruction of evidence.
Maduena faces three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner, and possession of a controlled substance for sales. All are felonies.
