Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Ventura’s Pacific View Mall

Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Pacific View Mall in Ventura Monday afternoon.

The victim approached a Ventura Police Patrol officer just after 3:30 p.m. in the mall’s parking structure to report that he had just been robbed by four suspects.

The victim told police that the suspects approached him while he was near his parked car, and pulled out a knife before threatening the victim. A second suspect then searched the victim and took the victim’s keys, wallet and cell phone. Police say the unnamed victim was forced back into his vehicle before the suspects fled the scene.

Police were unable to locate the suspects but are hoping the public may be able to help.

One of the suspects is described as Black male adult, about 25 years old, wearing a dark hoodie style sweatshirt and armed with a knife.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to contact the Ventura Police Department.
