Evening Anchor/Reporter – KCOY – Santa Barbara
KCOY 12 Central Coast Local News has an immediate opening for an evening co-anchor/reporter to join our team.
The successful candidate will be engaged with viewers on all screens from digital to broadcast. We’re seeking someone who is passionate about journalism, about serving the viewers through compelling storytelling and representing the station during events across the many communities we serve.
Anchors here are actively involved in newscast production and digital content creation at all times. Field reporting is a regular part of this position. We’re looking for someone ready and willing to make the commitment to serving the Central Coast and being part of the team leading news coverage.
A minimum of 7 years’ experience anchoring at a commercial television station is required for consideration. Your digital and social media skills are just as important as your on camera abilities.
