Clean Air Express Service To Connect Santa Ynez Valley to Santa Barbara

A new Saturday service from Clean Air Express, will connect the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara with regular scheduled transportation between the two regions for the first time.

The first day of service will be on Saturday, July 11. The inauguration trip will depart at 9:30 a.m. from Pea Soup Anderson’s in Buellton. The first day of service will be free to all passengers.

The service will operate one round trip in the morning and one in the afternoon to allow visitors and residents to easily travel to Buellton, Solvang, Los Olivos and Santa Barbara for the day.

The Clean Air Express features charter-style buses with free Wi-Fi, reclining seats, and internal bays for transporting bicycles.

The new service was made possible by the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments. SBCAG, the County of Santa Barbara, Visit Santa Ynez Valley, the Buellton Visitors Bureau, and the Solvang Visitors Bureau are the funding partners for the first year of this new service.
