Santa Barbara County Courthouse Tower Closes for Upgrades

The Santa Barbara County Courthouse Clock Tower is closed for repairs.

The upgrades will help the disabled enjoy the panoramic views from the historic landmark.

Work is expected to take place until the end of June.

At the same time the on going project in the mural room, will continue on its schedule with a completion expected in May. The project is being led by the Courthouse Legacy Foundation and funded through both public and private contributions.

During the construction all other functions at the courthouse and tours will continue.
