Vandals Don’t Spoil Ice Cream Shop’s Holidays

McConnell’s Ice Cream Shop near the Buenaventura Mall didn’t stay closed for long after vandals did some major damage.

In early December, police say someone threw rocks through the business’s windows and used a fire extinguisher to make a mess.

The owners said repairs cost about $20,000.

The shop re-opened Friday just in time for customers to enjoy holiday flavors including Eggnog and Cinnamon Stick.
