Oxnard Investigators Ask for Help to Solve Homicide

Oxnard police are asking for the public’s help in solving the murder of a 55-year-old man.

The victim, Labh Nigah, was found in Sierra Linda Park last Thursday morning. Police said he had just dropped off his child at Sierra Linda Elementary School when he was attacked and repeatedly stabbed. He died shortly after from his injuries.

One person was seen running from the crime scene, heading west through the park onto Holly Street, police said.

Nigah frequented the park several times a week, according to other park visitors.

Investigators believe witnesses may have seen the suspect in the park in the days leading up to the attack. They also said the suspect may have been hurt during the attack and sought medical treatment.

Oxnard police is offering a $10,000 reward for any information about this crime.
