Throughout the year the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County helps feed bmore than 40,000 people.

Those are people who are food insecure and don’t always know where their next meal will come from.

One out of Six people in the county need help from the food bank.

Chris Aho of the Food Bank Coalition thanked local farmers for their donations. Aho said, “We’ve been affected by the drought, there just isn’t as much produce to go around these days. The donations that we have are great ,they come from our local farmers.”

The KCOY turkey drive is November 20th from 6am to 7pm.
