Paso Robles Man Accused of Stalking and Assaulting Ex-Wife

Police arrested a Paso Robles man accused of stalking and assaulting his ex-wife.

Police say Ernesto Duarte, 34, chased his ex-wife in her car on Tuesday.

They say the chase started on the 100 block of Niblick Road and went on for several blocks. Officers were finally able to stop Duarte on the 800 block of Spring Street.

Duarte is being charged with stalking and assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County jail. No one was hurt during the chase.
