Figueroa Mountain Brewing Gets Increased Santa Barbara Hours

After settling a paperwork issue, last call will come a little later at the Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. in Santa Barbara.

For about the last two months, the business in the “Funk Zone” had to turn out the lights at 9 p.m. This, after staying open later for several months prior to that.

A check of the permit by the Santa Barbara Police Department revealed a conflict over how long the business could stay open each day. While that was worked out with the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Figueroa Mountain had to shut down early.

It is now open until 11 p.m. each day.

General Manager Tony Grimes says it keeps the popular spot buzzing right along with several other businesses that are open late in the popular art and dining district.

“Yea things are definitely hearting up in a sense, and there’s a lot of fun stuff planned for the summertime, so it should be a good relationship,” said Grimes.

The brew spot has a mix of all demographics, and offers a food menu from the nearby Lucky Penny restaurant.

Figueroa Mountain also has locations in Buellton and Los Olivos.
