Some people walking along State Street stopped to watch a Flash Mob Thursday night.
Members of World Dance for Humanity danced to Pharrell William’s hit “Happy.”
They called it a rain dance. They are hoping to promote awareness about the need for water conservation due to the ongoing drought
The dancers are also planning a fundraiser to help raise money for dance projects in Rwanda. The event will be a 70s soul and funk dance party at the Soho Restaurant and Music Club Saturday April 12 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.
