Two Separate Robberies at Pacific View Mall

Officers are reviewing security camera footage after two people were attacked and robbed this week while leaving the Pacific View Mall in Ventura.

The attacks happened on Tuesday and Wednesday during the evening hours.

Police say, the first victim was a 15-year-old boy. He was approached by two adult males while leaving the mall. The robbers got away with his phone and skateboard.

Police say, the second victim was a 25-year-old woman. She was attacked by a young man. Her cellphone was stolen as well.

The news of these robberies is putting workers at the mall on high alert.

“I would say walk in groups, when I leave work usually I leave that back door and either someone walks with me, or my manager watches me to make sure I get to my car safe. So I would say don’t walk alone,” said mall worker Lauren Ready.

No suspects have been arrested. Anyone with information should call police.
