Blockbuster Liquidation Begins
300 Blockbuster video stores have begun a liquidation sale this morning across the country including the Santa Barbara location on Milpas St.
Blockbuster was once the “go-to” site for a large selection of videos, but on line streaming has zapped that market and the stores are closing.
DVD’s, games and snack food will all be sold off.
In Santa Barbara eight employees will be without a job.
