Stabbing Under Investigation in Lompoc
A motive for a stabbing is under investigation in Lompoc.
Lompoc police officers were sent to the 500 block of West Ocean Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
They said both of the young boys suffered minor stab wounds and were taken to the Lompoc District Hospital.
Both were treated and then released. The suspect was identified as Carlos Mendoza of Lompoc. He was later found and arrested.
Police said the stabbing is not gang related.
