Return Of Allen Leads Royals Over Dons In Girls Volleyball

She’s back and so is San Marcos High School girls volleyball. Emily Allen, who played some earlier in the week, was a force on the court as she led the Royals to a sweep over Santa Barbara.

Allen tore the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee about eight months ago playing soccer. She pounded down a match-high 11 kills as the Royals handed the Dons their first Channel League loss in four games this year. San Marcos is now 2-2.

Emily’s younger sister Chloe Allen added 10 kills as the Royals won 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.
