Firefighters Call Elementary School Fire Suspicious
A fire damaged Fred. L. Williams elementary school on Anchorage Street in Oxnard Thursday night.
Firefighters said the fire spread from a shed to two preschool classrooms.
They said the cause appears to be suspicious.
Fire crews did not know whether the preschool classes would be cancelled or moved to a new location Friday.
The school is in the Hueneme School District.
