Santa Maria welcomes new Walmart Market
The city of Santa Maria officially welcomed its second Walmart Neighborhood Market.
The new store is on Blosser Road and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
It features a full line of groceries including fresh produce, and a pharmacy.
A spokesman for the new store says they feel the west side of town lacked resources so they are excited about providing excellent service to that part of the community.
The store’s grand opening took place Wednesday morningin the store’s parking.
