Fire damages Ventura home
A fire in Ventura has left a home with more than $175,000 in damage.
The fire started just after 10 p.m. Thursday on the 300 block of Court Avenue.
When firefighters arrived on scene, the house’s garage was engulfed in flames.
The person living in the home was safely evacuated, and firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading throughout the home.
Investigators are now trying to figure out how the fire started.
