Fence fire slows traffic through Santa Barbara
A fence fire broke out near the Mission Street off ramp on the northbound side of Highway 101.
Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded at 1:15 p.m. on Friday.
According to CHP the fire was 200 yards away from the off ramp.
Northbound traffic was affected causing major slow down. Authorities temporarily closed the number three lane.
The fire was knocked down just after 1:30 p.m. and the cause is still under investigation.
