Bomb threat at Santa Maria bank
An investigation is underway involving a fake bomb threat in Santa Maria.
Santa Maria police say the call came in around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Santa Barbara Bank and Trust on 335 E. Betteravia St.
Authorities say bank management were told a customer made threatening remarks of a possible bomb threat.
Police evacuated the bank and set up a perimeter. The bank was checked by the bomb squad, no device was found.
No one was hurt.
