Cabrillo advances in SoCal Regional in girls soccer

Yessica Bobo’s goal in the 64th minute was the lone goal of the game as Cabrillo of Lompoc blanked Highland of Bakersfield 1-0 in a CIF Southern California Regional Division II first round contest.

Brianna Farley’s free kick went into the box and Bobo just beat Highland’s goalie to the ball to head it into the goal before both players collided and fell to the ground. Bobo is unlikely to play in the next round after hitting her head.

Cabrillo will play at Chaminade on Wednesday.
