#7 Kentucky Uses Strong 2nd Half to Blow Past Gauchos

A’dia Mathies scored 19 points for #7 Kentucky to lead all scorers as the Wildcats beat UC Santa Barbara 66-38.Mathies made four three-pointers, three of them in the second half to carry Kentucky to its ninth straight victory.At the half UK lead 28-20 but the Wildcats proved to be too much for the Gauchos. Kentucky outscoring UCSB by 20 points in the second half.UC Santa Barbara drops to 4-8 and will host Kansas State Dec. 29.
