Combined Commands At Navy Base

Some consolidating is going on at Naval Base Ventura County.A command establishment ceremony took place today.The base is combining logistics and engineering centers.The new center will be called “The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center .”The consolidation of the two commands is part of an effort to reduce costs and improve mission support.
