Theft And Animal Cruelty Arrest

GPS helped officers locate a stolen work truck today.Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Deputies followed the Santa Barbara Steam Cleaning truck from Carpinteria to Ventura.With the help of Ventura Police and Police K-9s, Deputies arrested Mario Miguel Ramirez Jr. on Cedar Street.The 22-year-old is facing vehicle theft and animal cruelty charges.A spokesperson for the cleaning company says a worker left the keys in the truck while calling on a business.They are thrilled they will be getting the truck back.Ramirez was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
