Under the Helmet with Cardinal Running Back Jack Gregson

He’s been missing in action the past few weeks but Bishop Diego has their co-captain back.We go Under the Helmet with Senior Jack Gregson who has recovered from a minor knee injury. He is now ready to go the distance like his favorite movie character Rocky.Gregson rushed for over 250 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 13 carries in Bishop Diego’s first game of the year.The next week Gregson added 3 more touchdowns against Santa Ynez but hurt his knee in the second half.He missed 2 games but still has 392 yards rushing on just 25 carries.Gregson is a 4 year varsity player and is co-captain this season for the Cardinals. He credits his dad for his work ethic and his desire to be great. When healthy, Gregson is a blur on the football field, but he will slow down to watch his favorite movies. “Rambo and Rocky are the 2 movies that I got brought up with those are my favorite movies. I want to be like Sylvester Stallone when I grow up. I want to look like that but not take steroids obviously.”Just like Rambo and Rocky, Bishop Diego will be a hard team to knockout this season! Last spring in baseball, Gregson hit .384 and led the team in triples and was second in hits and RBIs for the Cards.
