Ventura City Manager Resigns

Ventura City Manager Rick Cole has agreed to resign, effective mid -September.Cole told Key News the decision was discussed during his annual review.Cole says Ventura City Council Members wanted a change in leadership.He agreed to step down and receive his full severance.An interim City Manager will be chosen in a couple weeks.Cole says you can read more about it on his blog.Cole was in charge during a number of controversial issues including the downtown parking meters and granny flat code enforcement decisions.You’ll find that on the city’s website:City of VenturaShare your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
