New Century 16 To Open Oct. 26th

The day after the Century 16 theatre closes in Ventura a new one will open in Oxnard.Cinemark officials confirmed that the opening day will be October 26th..Cinemark also says they will keep their current employees and hire 25 percent more.Applications are available inside the theatre on Johnson Drive.The new theatre will be larger.Movie goers will enjoy floor to ceiling screens, a cafeteria, and the latest technology.The Century 16 will be located in the The Collection at Riverpark off the Oxnard Boulevard exit.Homeowners say they have been waiting more than three years for the shopping center to take root.Target is the only store open in the development that stalled when the recession hit.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
