Marsh Wins California Amateur Golf Championship

It came down to a 36 hole match play final round at La Cumbre Country Club.Santa Barbara native Kevin March, 39, battled young gun Ben Geyer in the California Amateur Championship on Saturday.Marsh was Up-3 on the 31st hole of the match, the par 3 13th, when he drained a long breaking putt to win the hole and go Up-4.The 1991 Dos Pueblos High School graduate went on to win the match 4-and-3 taking home his first California Amateur Championship title.
