Panga Boat Found On San Luis Obispo County Coast

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Another drug-smuggling panga boat is discovered off the central coast, this time in San Luis Obispo County.Fish and Game Agents spotted the 35 foot boat beached Thursday morning about two miles north of Piedras Blancas.Sheriff’s officials say the panga was outfitted with two high-powered motors, plenty of fuel and dozens of 100-pound packaged bales of marijuana.Officials say it appears the suspects took off on foot.
