L.J. Washington’s Backyard Barbeque

This week’s KEYT summer backyard barbeque hostess was Carpinteria’s very own, L.J. Washington.The self-taught griller served up sweet pork sloppy joe sandwiches and coconut red curry spare ribs. Alan Rose was live at Leadbetter Beach during Key news at 5, 6 and 6:30p.m. as Washington showed off her culinary skills. You can host a backyard barbeque and remember the menu doesn’t have to be tri-tip!Feel free to grill up hamburgers, hot dogs, kabobs, or even veggies.
