Arson Arrest

Ventura Police arrested a homeless man suspected of setting a number of fires.Fire crews put out at least six fires set along Thompson Boulevard last night.A witness spotted the suspect near Front Street and called 911.Police arrested 36-year-old Patrick McInenly a short time later.Workers in the area noticed a melted dumpster outside a motel this morning and thought it may have melted in the heat wave..Ventura Fire Officials say they are now trying to determine if the suspect is the same arsonist who set a number of River bottom fires near local freeways last week.
