Car Rollover on the 101 Southbound Near Mission

Police are investigating an accident on highway 101 between Mission and Carrillo exits, sent one person to the hospital. It happened this afternoon on the southbound 101. Police say a driver traveling in the left lane at about 70 miles per miles when she hit the brakes too hard, slid across the road and overturned. CHP officer Jim Richards says, “preliminary reports is that two vehicles may have been changing lanes into the same lane at the same time, which caused her to take evasive action.” Investigators say there is no indication that alcohol was involved. The woman was taken to cottage hospital with minor injuries.
