Santa Barbara County Fire respond to reports of structure fire at UCSB

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department received calls about a structure fire at UCSB on Monday.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to reports of a commercial high rise structure fire at UCSB on Monday.

The call time for the fire was around 4 p.m.

Upon arriving, firefighters found no fire. They said construction with metal on the first floor of the Biology II building had caused smoke to rise to the second floor.

No flames were reported.

The building is located at Ucen Road and Lagoon Road.
