Why are you running for office?: Our city is in need of sports fields, infrastructure updates, beautification, small business support, more revenue coming in and some creative ideas to move us to the next level as a city. I believe I can provide the leadership with the Council to get the jobs done. My campaign slogan is "The Possibility of Us."
What makes you qualified for the job?: I am a Veteran, former Federal Officer, Clergy, have served as a Public Official helping to work with millions of dollars, helped in the decision to build two schools in the area, had streets named in town (Orie Ct. and Gatewood Way) strived to get bilingual education taught in our local schools, and ensured buildings were earthquake safe.

I have a Masters Degree in Teaching, B.S. in Organizational Management and also have degrees in Liberal Arts and Human Resource Management from various institutions.

I have also taught thousands of kids in the area from kindergarten to college. I also have a working relationship with the homeless in the community. I have been intertwined in the community for years and have a great knowledge of it.
What are your two main priorities if you win?: Obtaining a sports complex or area for our youth and city beautification.
How will you interact with other governments?: I would like to work with each agency available to see what they can help the city with, as well as, what the city can do to help them. It is a mutual aid type situation that I am looking at.
What are your plans to help overcome COVID-19?: Urge residents to follow local safety procedures and put code enforcement on a higher alert to help keep us safe. I would follow the advice of the local health official and try to promote more safety as a community.
Which two issues are most important to you?: Community awareness, beautification of our city and enhancement of our infrastructure to meet the needs of our community and bring in revenues.
