One Year Later: Santa Barbara remembers victims of Conception tragedy

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Santa Barbara held a virtual commemoration on the one-year anniversary of the Conception boat fire Wednesday.

The event honored the 34 lives lost during the September 2, 2019 Conception Boat Fire.

The event was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Santa Barbara Waterfront Department hosted the virtual commemoration and plaque dedication for the victims and their families.
