SLO City Fire rescue person who fell 15 to 20 feet
San Luis Obispo City Fire were on scene of a Bishop Peak rescue.
There was reports of a person who fell 15 to 20 feet and needed medical assistance.
Battalion Chief, Ray Hais says he is a 65-year old male who fell approximately 15 feet.
He had scratches on his face, arms and legs. The victim was saying he also had hip pain.
He was located at the top of the mountain with moderate injuries.
He was safely extricated using a CHP helicopter and taken to Sierra Vista Hospital for further evaluation.
SLo City Fire was helped by Cal Fire San Luis Obispo.
Firefighters were even accompanied by curios horses at the command post.
