Motorcyclist injured in traffic collision on Highway 154
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded to a traffic collision involving a vehicle and motorcycle on Highway 154 in Santa Barbara.
The incident occurred around 2:12 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Highway 154 and East Camino Cielo.
County Fire said the driver of the motorcycle sustained moderate to major injuries and was tranported by AMR to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for further treatment. The victim's current condition is unclear.
Santa Barbara County Fire's engine 13, engine 113, battalion 10 and a Los Padres engine responded to the crash.
CHP has completed their investigation of the incident. Both lanes of Highway 154 are currently open.
We do not yet know the cause of the crash or if anyone else was injured.
