Scratch Kitchen in Lompoc set to close its doors this weekend

A high-end restaurant in Lompoc is serving its last meals this weekend.

Scratch Kitchen & Wine Bar announced on Facebook earlier this week that they would be closing for good.

“We are now ready to spend time with our family and embark on a new journey,” the restaurant said. “We hope to see you all in our last week of operation. Once again thank you Lompoc for the support.”

Over 180 comments were added to the post, many voicing sadness that the restaurant would be closing down while also supporting the decision of the owners.

The restaurant was well-known for bringing farm-to-table meals to Lompoc residents over the last five years. One woman we spoke to said the restaurant was one of the only places in town to get a quality brunch.

Scratch Kitchen & Bar will close its doors on Sunday.
