Suspect in Lompoc shooting still at large, items seized from home

The suspect in Thursday morning’s shooting at a Lompoc gas station is still at large and Lompoc police say the investigation has shifted to a narcotics-related investigation.

Deshawn Lee Johnson, 46, was identified as the suspect in a shooting that took place at 801 East Ocean Ave. at the Conserv Fuel early Thursday morning.

Johnson is a black male, standing 6-foot tall and weighing 230 pounds.

Lompoc police SWAT team executed a search warrant at Johnson’s home on Thursday afternoon but Johnson was not at the property.

Police seized numerous items from the property and are asking the public to look at the items to determine if they might be the rightful owners of some of the stolen property.
