Santa Barbara Veterans Stand Down helps connect local veterans with critical resources

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — With Veteran’s Day right around the corner, a veteran-focused Stand Down at Santa Barbara Veterans Memorial Building is highlighting local veterans and providing them with information about free community resources.

These resources aim to educate veterans about their benefits and provide them with information ranging from affordable housing to mental health resources.

The Santa Barbara County Veterans Advisory Commission program begins at 11 a.m. with a free lunch followed at 12:00 p.m. The event runs until 2:00 p.m.
