OXNARD, Calif. - Oxnard police responded to reports of a fight involving a knife at the 200 block of Cuesta Del Mar Saturday evening, just two blocks from Art Haycox Elementary School.

The man, identified as 32-year-old Rene Jimenez of Oxnard, was arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a firearm by a felon and being in possession of a firearm in a school zone.
