Minuteman III launch scheduled at VAFB

A Minuteman III test launch has been scheduled at Vandenberg Air Force Base later this week.

The operational test launch is scheduled between 1:13 a.m. and 7:13 a.m.

The unarmed intercontinental ballistic missile will be launched by Air Force Global Strike Command to test the preparedness and effectiveness of the launch program and missile system at Vandenberg.
