One person hospitalized in three-vehicle crash in Santa Maria

One person was hospitalized following a crash on Highway 101 in Santa Maria Monday morning.

The Santa Maria Fire Department tweeted about the crash around 7:45 a.m.

Firefighters responded to a three-vehicle crash on southbound Highway 101, just south of Stowell Road.

Photos from the scene appeared to show a pickup truck and a sedan that had gone off the highway and crashed. The third vehicle wasn’t visible in the photos.

Firefighters say one person was transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.

No other information was immediately available.
