CHP identifies boy killed in Highway 118 tanker crash
The Ventura County Medical Examiner has identified the 9-year old boy who died in the crash on Highway 118 in Moorpark on Friday as Ruben Arroyo Jr.
The Examiner says that Arroyo died of blunt-force injuries due to the crash and died at the hospital.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for medical expenses.
On Friday August 11th, our family was shook by a horrific tragedy. Our cousins Veronica, RJ, and Roxy were involved in a car accident in Moorpark CA and RJ was taken by the lord at only 9 years old. Veronica and Roxy are separated at 2 different hospitals with critical injuries. The amount of care they need will extend beyond their hospital stay.
