City of Oxnard Investigating its 9th Homicide of the Year
The Oxnard Police Department is now investigating its 9th homicide of the year.
When officers arrived in the north alley of the 800 block of Cooper Road at 5:30 a.m. Friday, they discovered a Hispanic man in his 20’s lying in the alley.
Investigators say the man had been the victim of an assault. Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending family notification.
No suspect(s) have been arrested at this time and no other details were immediately known.
