Two Santa Maria Pastors Step Down From Church Leadership Under Unknown Circumstances
Two Santa Maria pastors have stepped away indefinitely from their leadership positions at Church for Life.
While nothing in a statement released from the church says anything criminal happened it does say Pastor Rob Litzinger and his wife Cindy are no longer Pastors at the Church.
“We’ve come into some revelations this week that have really lead our church into a storm concerning Pastors Rob and Cindy,” Jeff Hoyos, interim Church For Life pastor, said. “As a result, Rob and Cindy have agreed to enter into a restoration process and indefinitely step down from church leadership. We are still in the process of looking into the full weight of this matter.”
The statement is unclear as to what exactly happened for them to step down.
Someone answered the door when we visited the Litzinger’s home but the person declined to comment and shut the door.
Santa Maria Police say there is currently no criminal investigation in this matter since no one has approached them about it.
We have also learned Rob Litzinger is a Commissioner with the Parks and Recreation Department in Santa Maria.
