PISMO BEACH, Calif. — Almost 30 kids gathered at the Pismo Coast Village RV Resort Thursday for its 38th annual Christmas party for children with special needs.

The kids took part in a day filled with craft-making, singing Christmas carols, arcade games, and a visit with Santa Claus.

CAL FIRE’s Smokey Bear and Sparky The Fire Dog made an appearance at the party as well.

Secret Santa gifts, food and other supplies were donated by businesses, guests, employes, and locals.

All of the children who attended are enrolled in special education classes at either Oceano Education Center, Grover Heights Elementary, or Oceanview Elementary.
