Open Streets Event Brings Human Powered Activities to Waterfront

A unique human powered event will replace cars on Cabrillo Blvd. Saturday in Santa Barbara.

Vehicles will not be allowed on the popular waterfront street from Stearns Wharf to East Beach where SB Open Streets will take place.

There will be many types of activities in areas where cars normally travel. They include dancing, bikes exhibitions, fitness, music and public art.

Waterfront shuttles and the MTD routes will be relocated.

The event takes place from 10am to 4 pm.
