Stage equipment stolen from Lobero Theatre

Someone stole stage equipment from the Lobero Theatre.

Workers were unloading steel deck platforms behind the theatre yesterday, but when they turned their backs for a few minutes they were taken.

Workers say the thieves used their dolly to commit the crime.

The four platforms we supposed to be part of the stage for the show “Unfinished Business” that opens Thursday.

But, the show will go on. The director says the crew will rent more platforms, but insurance may not cover the cost of the stolen ones.
